We are seeking a Forensic Investigator for a contract period of 6 months who will be responsible for conducting investigations within the Group
Minimum Requirements of Job
Degree or Diploma - Forensic investigating and Auditing or Accounting
Strong forensic audit/investigative experience (4 8 years or more)
Prior Telecommunications industry experience (highly advantageous)
Fraud Risk management background (highly advantageous)
Ability to operate independently
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to travel locally (South Africa)
Perform Forensic Investigation into allegations of fraud and/or corruption and related acts of misconduct in accordance with standards and best practice
Use the appropriate tools/investigative methodologies e.g. data analytics to obtain the necessary evidence on allegations
Engage with relevant stakeholders during investigation process, which include internal and external staff, management as well as SAPS
Compilation of comprehensive reports on all investigated incidents which should include findings and recommendations
Create fraud awareness internally through interaction with organisation
Submit weekly forensic progress report
Collaboration is key, i.e. assisting the team across internal audit (20%), risk management (40%) and investigations (40%)
