To provide a full generalist HR function to the various business units within ADC PAN African operations. These functions include, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, general administration, reporting and industrial relations.
This role supports the HR Manager and the business line managers in the execution of HR-related activities and monitors adherence to HR best practice and principles to help the ADC achieve excellence through its people.
Minimum Requirements of Job
Matric / Grade 12 and National Diploma: Human Resources essential
4 year's HR Operations experience is mandatory

Recruitment & Selection
Create and load vacancies accurately on the internal and external recruitment portals.
Source candidates, track and monitor advert responses and provide a short list to the recruiting managers.
Liaise with line managers and schedule interviews or assessments as required.
Prepares interview packs and participates in interviews when required.
Ensure that all pre-employment screening is completed prior to offers of employment.
Provides all support documents to the HR Manager for review, offer preparation and approval.
Assists in getting internal approvals on offers and ensures that all documents are in place as per policy.
Draw up Letters of Appointment; once approved by the HR Manager and extend offers.
Prepare the onboarding pack to get all the relevant payroll documentation in place.
Facilitate the onboarding process for all new starters in the business.
Proactively liaise with IT, facilities, security and other internal departments to ensure all tools of trade are prepared and available on the start date.
Liaise with line managers to draw up business unit specific programs to assist new starters in understanding the business and facilities of the organization.
Facilitate induction program for all new starters.
Uploads new employee information on relevant HR and internal systems.
Prepares employee personnel file for submission to payroll.
Training & Development
Support, guide and advise line managers to identify training needs in their respective business units and submit the training requirements.
Compile, track and update the training register for all training done in ADC.
Source training providers and courses in line with the planned training schedule.
Participate in selected personal development discussions on request from line managers.
Monitor and track that all employees have training plans on file.
Co-ordinate and monitor successful implementation of internships or learnerships.
HR Reporting and Administration
Ensure accurate payroll documentation is submitted to Payroll within agreed deadlines.
Ensure accurate employee data management.
Ensure data integrity of all reports sent from HR to the business keeping in mind the sensitivity and confidentiality of shared information.
Conduct research and enforces HR procedures and policies
Track vacancies and reports on recruitment.
Track absenteeism and highlight risks or concerns to the HR Manager.
Ensure proper filing, document management and good house-keeping in line with HR policies and audit requirements.
Track and highlight probation period and ensure that probation reports are in place for audit purposes.
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained including meeting all deadlines.
Update and track the ADC organogram with all employee movements and changes.
Support the Performance Management process between management and employees to ensure the ESS system is updated and easily accessible.
Track, monitor and report on formal performance reviews.
Participate and together with the HR Manager support employee engagement survey process for the organization and appropriately measure initiatives put in place to ensure satisfactory engagement in ADC.
Work closely with OPCO HR teams and ensure adherence to OPCO policies and adherence to statutory legislations in respective countries.
Ensure that employee issues and concerns are addressed and refer unresolved major issues to the HR Manager.
Participates in and supports the job grading process and ensures that all job profiles are aligned, quality checked and prepared for grading.
Maintains regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Train line managers and employees on internal systems / or processes that are to be followed.
